New Look for the New Me

It's another year added to my already interesting life. Aside from the fact that each week I get to experience new things, I've also added a new look, actually more of cutting off a few inches on my very long hair. A couple of days before my 29th birthday, Jeff and I decided to get our hair cut. We went to F Salon and Spa in Meycauayan, Bulacan. It's my first time to get my hair cut in that salon since I'm a fan of Reyes Haircutters, but since they murdered my nail the last time I went there, I vowed never to return again.

I was so anxious on what hairstyle would fit my long hair, then during the last minute before my turn on the hot seat I decided to have the short hair style. I thought it wouldn't suit me, because the last time I cut my hair short was more than 8 years ago, during college days. It wasn't looking good, so I thought. I just had it straightened last February, exactly one week before my wedding, so I'm more concerned that the hair style wouldn't fit me.

However, after roughly 15 - 20 minutes, voila, my hair looks better than my long hair. It's a lot manageable and it's not so heavy anymore. It's as if the hairstylist took some weight off my head. Now, I'm happier and excited to get headbands and clips to style it more.
